It is with sadness that we announce that Mrs. Monique Hurtubise Brouillet passed away peacefully at home on April 27, 2024, surrounded by her family.
She was the daughter of the late Alfred Hurtubise and the late Germaine Kirouac, and wife of the late Hubert Brouillet.

Mrs. Hurtubise is survived by her four daughters Anne-Marie (Jocelyn), Martine (Chuck), Lorraine and Christine (Eric), and her grandsons Mathew, Alexandre, Marc-André and Guillaume.

She was also a much-loved aunt to her many nieces and nephews, for whom her door was always open. She placed family at the center of her life, and devoted herself entirely to nurturing these family ties.

The family will receive condolences at 10 a.m. on June 1, 2024, at Église Saint-Mathieu, 2600 rue Jean-Talon Est, Montréal. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m.

In addition, in accordance with Mrs. Brouillet's wishes, relatives and friends are invited to an afternoon tea at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 6700 Beaubien Street East, starting at 12:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Friends of the Montreal Library or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
