Answer calls from the head office; Answer calls for decease and inform the managers; Dispatch transportation; Schedule the funeral staff (Funeral Managers, Drivers and Pallbearers); Follow-up on unclaimed deceases (curatorship or others); Follow-up on ashes (delivery, transportation, etc.); Follow-up on air transports; Perform various clerical tasks; Work closely with other dispatchers; Replace the operator occasionally; Other related duties.
Supernumerary Activities Agent
Welcome families and present then to the Managers and the Initial Arrangements Advisors; Answer the phone and direct the calls and fax (newspapers, contracts, pit digging, etc.); Create files and proceed to their verification; Perform various computing tasks; Maintain inhumation and/or cremation records up to date, as per needed; Share appointments with people concerned; Other related duties.
Part-time Service Agent (transportation)
Ensure body’s identification, from reception to the laboratory and from the laboratory to the viewing location or crematorium;Ensure documentation follow-up;Take charge of bodies either from their house, a CHSLD or the hospital;Prepare viewings as per requested by the supervisor;Other related duties.
Ensure the movement of the caskets containing remains at various times and places before, during and after the funeral;Move funeral urns and transport floral arrangements;Driving various funeral vehicles on occasion;Perform any other related task.
