Part-time Service Agent (transportation)
Ensure body’s identification, from reception to the laboratory and from the laboratory to the viewing location or crematorium;Ensure documentation follow-up;Take charge of bodies either from their house, a CHSLD or the hospital;Prepare viewings as per requested by the supervisor;Other related duties.
Analyze, identify the needs of families and propose prior arrangements orcemetery products corresponding to their needs; Sell cemetery sites (land, niche, crypt, etc.); Perform the necessary follow-ups with grieving families; Develop and establish contacts with potential clients, groups or individuals; Carry out administrative follow-ups related to sales;
Supernumerary Crematorium Agent
Ensure effective management of bodies to maximize daily cremations; Reception of bodies; Ensure body’s permanent identification, from reception to inurnment; Operate crematorium; Put ashes in respective urns; Ensure documentation follow-up; Put caskets in crypts; Engrave on urns; Lettering on crypts’ doors; Open and close niches in the complex for urns shelving; Ensure cleanliness of work installations and accessories; Perform regular maintenance of crematoriums as per schedule; Perform minor repairs on crematoriums; Follow inhumation procedures; Track urn inventory and storage spaces; Other related duties.
Ensure the movement of the caskets containing remains at various times and places before, during and after the funeral;Move funeral urns and transport floral arrangements;Driving various funeral vehicles on occasion;Perform any other related task.
Part-time Operations Attendant
Ensure maintenance and cleanliness inside the complex, including floors, washrooms, receiving rooms, entrance doors and windows, flowers and showrooms and if needed, in columbaria and crypts;Replace burnt out bulbs;Consult urn burial calendar and the daily schedule of the complex;Preparation ofviewingrooms, chapels and receiving rooms, including ashes, bodies and flowers (layout) and other amenities;Transport body from cold room to theviewingroom or in a chapel;Order amenities and ensure their reception (coffee, tea, glasses, sanitary products, cleaning products and stationery) and any related products;Prepare files for managers;Fill the coffee maker often and ensure its maintenance;Empty garbage bins when needed;Other related duties.
Manage inventories of caskets, urns, cremation containers, sealers (hermetic metal boxes) and all other accessories and appliqués for caskets and urns.Order caskets, urns and vaults from various suppliers.Receive, verify and forward deliveries received at 155 Fleet.Check the quality of caskets and urns.Perform engravings and be responsible for delivering the finished product to the right place and on time (urns and plates).Manage the repair of damaged caskets and urns.Order and manage the inventory of various products.Prepare orders for the various branches.Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of the carts.See to the maintenance of his workspace.Perform filing and storage.Perform other related duties
University degree in human resources management or industrial relations (or equivalent experience)Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a staffing roleHave exemplary rigor in monitoring files and be able to manage several files simultaneously.Written and spoken French (proficiency)Functional EnglishBe a very good communicator, both verbal and writtenGood knowledge of the Microsoft Office suiteBe a team player and have fun at work
