What is a Memorial Garden?
Urgel Bourgie / Athos’ memorial gardens are final resting places for the deceased, but they are also beautiful gardens of remembrance for grieving families.

Ceremony Recording Service
recording service ensures that those who are unable to attend the funeral in
person can still attend the ceremony virtually, either live or after the fact.
Closed Outdoor Columbaria
Urns can be placed in
our outdoor columbaria, surrounding by the incredible and beautiful memorial
gardens. Each niche can hold one or two urns, depending on the plot.
We provide indoor glass-fronted and closed columbaria in wood and granite. Our glass-fronted indoor columbaria enable you to maintain visual contact with the urn contained within.
Closed indoor columbaria ensure that the urn cannot be seen from the outside. We offer single, double and family closed and glass-fronted niches, depending on the plot.
Each crypt can hold
one coffin. You may also add one urn to each crypt.
Depending on the
memorial garden, you may choose between a single or double crypt. You may also
add one urn to each crypt.
Our ecological gardens consist of memory stones or small monuments. Ashes buried in our ecological gardens can be identified by a bronze commemorative plaque or an engraving. You can also choose a memorial tree, in which the ashes will be buried in a biodegradable urn at the base of a tree and identified with a teak plaque or fieldstone.
If you select a flower garden, the ashes will be buried in front of a flower bed along with an identifying plaque or stone. We provide single, double and family plots in our ecological gardens.
Burial or Cremation Grounds
Burial grounds can
hold up to two coffins and four urns. Cremation grounds can hold between four
and six urns.
Bronze and Granite Plaques
We provide bronze and
granite commemorative plaques, which can be accompanied by a vase. These
plaques are used at our burial and cremation grounds.
Personalized Monuments and Tombstones
Monuments can be
personalized in terms of colour, model and engraving.
