Roger Bélanger
1937- 2024

Father Roger Bélanger, 87, of Carrefour Providence Residence, Montréal, passed away on April 24, 2024 (his birthday), Missionnaire d'Afrique (Père Blanc), son of the late Germaine Joncas and the late Louis-Philippe Bélanger.

He leaves us after 33 years of missionary life in Malawi. On his return to Quebec, he also worked for several years at the Centre Afrika
in Montreal with the Missionaries of Africa.

In addition to his Missionaries of Africa confreres, he is survived by: his brothers and sisters: Sœur Monique Bélanger RSR, Thérèse (late Joseph Michaud), Benoit
(Germaine Chénard), Jean-Noël (Marguerite St-Laurent), Marie-Anna (late André Larouche), Marguerite (late Roger Dumas), late Delphis (late Micheline Laroche),
Marcelle (late Charles-André Thibault), Albert, Françoise (Albert Cabot), Cécile, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 11 at 10:30 a.m. at the Missionaries of Africa community in Montreal. The family will receive condolences from 9am before mass.
