It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic death of our son Herman, 20, at the Enfant-Jésus hospital in Quebec City on Friday, April 19.

In addition to his parents André Dubuc and Line Mailhot, he is survived by his two older brothers, Julien and Antoine, his grandmother Raymonde, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, as well as his comrades-in-arms in the Canadian Forces.

Born in Montreal, Private Dubuc enlisted the year he came of age. He was a member of the 2nd Battalion, Royal 22e Régiment, in Valcartier.

The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie Complex, 3955 Côte-de-Liesse Road, Montreal, on Saturday, April 27, starting at 11 a.m. An ecumenical ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. at the same location.
