It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Rosa Calzolaio on April 22nd 2024 at the age of 89 years old.

Rosa Calzolaio, married to the late Salvatore D’Iorio, leaves behind her daughters Maria (the late Silvio D’Addario) and Marianna (Sandro).

She also leaves behind her grandchildren Carlo, Sonia (Andrew), Vanessa (Nick), Matthew, Sophia and her great-grandchildren Kayla, James and Lara. She also leaves behind her brother in Montreal, Pasquale (Christiane) and siblings in Italy along with many nephews and nieces in Italy and in Montreal.

Rosa Calzolaio will always be remembered for her devotion and love for her family. She was proud of her children and smiled the most around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A mass will be held on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, 11 a.m. at Mission Maria Auxiliatrice Church, 8555 boulevard Maurice-Duplessis in Montreal followed by the internment at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.
