It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Liliane Kassabian-Saba, on March 23rd, 2024, at the age of 87.
Lili was the beloved wife of Joseph Saba, mother to Jean Amin (Fiorella) and Karine (Eric) and cherished Teta to her 4 adoring grandchildren, Andria (Jonathan), Gabriella (Nolan), Dalia (Alex) and Samuel. She was also recently blessed with the birth of her first great-granddaughter, Julianna. She also leaves behind her beloved sisters, Lucie, Suzanne and Sonia (Rodolphe).

Born in Alexandria, Egypt, she then immigrated with her family to Canada in 1964. Lili was an independently-minded woman who loved all sports (in particular basketball and soccer) and adventures. Above all, Lili was a devoted wife, mother and sister, where family always came first. Her immense love and warmth were always unwavering, unconditional and felt by all those that knew her. We also remember her as an amazing cook. A variety of delicious meals were always whipped up in no time, and with no recipes in sight. She welcomed family and friends to your home with open arms and an abundance of love and generosity. As a Teta, the love and affection that she reserved for her grandchildren was immeasurable. We will all miss her tremendously.

The family would particularly like to thank Rania at Residence Rose-de-L’île, where our mother was treated like family. We cannot express enough gratitude to Rania and NOUR El Din for their love and care.

The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie/Athos funeral home located at 3955 chemin de la Côte de Liesse, Saint-Laurent, Québec H4N 2N6, on April 7th 2024, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
