Your daily contribution
You are often the first person families meet. Your welcome, calm demeanor, and sense of organization set the tone for their experience.
Summary of responsibilities
- Welcome families and direct them to Directors and Pre-Arrangement Advisors
- Receive and route phone calls and faxes (newspapers, contracts, grave openings, etc.)
- Open and verify client files
- Perform GAMMA file control (family verification process)
- Carry out various administrative and computer-related tasks
- Prepare and update burial and/or cremation files
- Review daily schedules and events at the facility
- Communicate appointments to the relevant individuals
- Arrange flower placements
- Maintain order, cleanliness, and proper functioning of common areas (including coffee machine)
- Perform any other related duties

Working conditions
- Casual on-call position
- Minimum availability of six (6) days per 14-day period, including one (1) weekend (day or evening) out of two (2)
- Compensation: $22.85/hour according to the collective agreement
