Aunt Nellie was a loving and forgiving woman. She and her family took me in when I was a youth and gave me the best care a child could ask for. I remembered how I used to enjoy watching Nellie get dressed for work , she always took the time to put herself together and I remember thinking I hope one day I can look and be like her when I was old enough to get a job. Her presentation of herself reflected in all that she did in her life; how she spoke to and about people, how she worked in her job, cooked, cleaned and how she loved her family she was the foundation for many. I could go on and on about all the naughty things I've done while living with aunt Nelly however, I will just say thank you again for forgiving me and still loving me for stealing your hard earned tip money and buying Barbie doll clothes and toasted hotdogs. May your soul rest in peace.

my memories of granny were, she always welcome me with open arms whenever I came for a visit, So loving towards Genevieve and I, making sure we were comfortable in her house and always having her delicious home cooked meals ready for us. She was a such loving person with lots of laughter. She used to tell me stories of her childhood and i loved listening to them, I felt so at home whenever I stayed with her on my visits, The months we spend with her after the birth of Genevieve were the most precious days for us and memories we shall carry in our hearts, Rest in Peace Mrs. Jones.
