Santina Impala (née Romano)Ritual recording
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Santina Romano Impala. She passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday May 26, 2020
She leaves to rejoin her husband Guiseppe Impala.
She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children Nancy (Tony Del Zingaro), Mariella (Nico Vani) and Dino (Anna Tsipas). Proud grandmother to Joshua, Sephra and Adamo. She also leaves to mourn her brother Carmelo (Pina) and sister Anna.
It is with love and tenderness that her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends here and in Italy will remember her. She always loved having her family around the table and welcomed everyone with open arms. She had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh that will stay in our hearts forever.
The funeral service will be private given the current government restrictions. On Friday May 29, 2020 at 9am at Urgel Bourgie (if you would like to have a special thought or prayer for the family at that time), a virtual viewing will also be available as of 10am.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Alzheimer`s Society in her memory will be greatly appreciated.
It seems we are always caught up in our everyday thoughts, and we don’t mention the things that matter most.
Motherhood is one of the most valuable and amazing things in the world. We want to thank you for all that is good in us. Everything you taught, showed and given us with words of wisdom, love, support, strength and courage. We learned a great deal from both you and dad. We will always be grateful. You were always there for us lovingly and unselfishness and there was nothing you would not have done for us to bring happiness into our lives. The love of a mother is never outgrown; only cherished more year after year. Thank you for watching over us. Thank you for your support when we cried. Thank you for your words of wisdom and comfort, and for your beautiful smile and laughter. We could not have asked for better wonderful and loving parents. You shared a love that was unique, one of best friends. You had a great love for one another and one that grew deeper day by day. Through the years the bad and the good together you found happiness, together you shared the joy of seeing dreams come true as well as misfortunes and illness. Together you raised 3 children of which whom you were proud. You welcomed our spouses with open arms and were proud grandparents. It is a privilege to call you mom and dad.
And while you sleep a peaceful sleep, you will live in our memories and our hearts forever. You will be truly missed. Goodbye for now. With all our love.
Your children and grandchildren.
Funeral will take place on May 29, 2020 10:00 AM at the following address: 1275 Dollard, LaSalle - in the Complex Chapel - virtual viewing.
