It is with peace and sadness that we announce the passing of Liliana Panfili Bragaglia. Born in Torrice, Frosinone, Italy, on June 3rd,1944, daughter of the late Gerardo Bragaglia and the late Adele Magliocco. Liliana passed away serenely at the age of 76 on April 20th 2021 -the day of her 58th wedding anniversary-. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Domenico, her children; Patricia and Giovanni, her grandchildren; Andrew and Branden as well as her sisters Antonia and Clara.
She will be remembered by many loving and supportive in-laws, nephews and nieces, friends and neighbours for her fun loving and passionate personality as well as her candid and outspoken ways!
The family would like to thank the entire team at CHSLD St. Michel for the exceptional love and care they have shown for Liliana over the years. We also want to underscore the compassionate care and efforts of Dr. Sherigui and Marie-Jude Gladys who’s professionalism and humanitarian support were outstanding during her final days.
The viewings, will be held as follows: 3 to 6pm Friday April 30th and 8am to 9:30am May 1st, 2021 at Urgel Bourgie/Complexe St.Francois D’Assise/rue Beaubien. A mass celebration in her memory, will be held at La Paroisse Saint-Leonard (5525 rue Jarry) at10am. After the mass celebration, she will be brought to her last resting place at Les Jardins Urgel Bourgie, Auteuil, Laval.
Due to the current COVID situation the viewings and celebrations will be in privacy and by invitation only.
In lieu of flowers, we have set up a research fund in my mom’s name to go towards her favourite doctor, Dr. Rolando Del Maestro! All donations received in memory of my mom will be designated to Dr. Del Maestro’s research fund and laboratory to help patients with brain tumors like my mom. A tax receipt will be made available. If you are interested in supporting Dr. Del Maestro’s brain tumor research, please see either the English or French link below (do a copy in your browser) and you will be immediately directed to the donation fund created in my mom’s honour. Tax receipts will be provided.
