Silvia Colantonio (née Martella)Ritual recording
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my beloved wife Sylvanna (Silvia) Martella. She went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday April 13, 2021 in the 63rd year of her blessed life.
She leaves to mourn her loving husband John of 38 years, her cherished sons Jonathan and Michael. She will be missed by her mother Agnese (predeceased by her father Antonio Martella), her sisters and brother, her in-laws John and Carmela Colantonio, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews and the many friends and family that crossed her path during her lifetime.
Sylvanna lived a good life filled with faith, hope, and love. We will miss her beautiful smile and the twinkle in her eyes. She always had an encouraging and uplifting word for those whom she encountered. She was so very special and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew her.
Sylvanna’s favorite passage of scripture was Psalm 23: 1-6:
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.
We know she is in a better place, heaven, where there is no pain and suffering.
