Eleanor is survived by her son Al Antosz, her younger sister Joyce (Lawrence) Metelski and numerous nieces and nephews.
Eleanor was born in Winnipeg on Oct 5th 1920 and as a young girl left her home in Manitoba to find a better life and she eventually made her way here to Montreal and it was here that she met the love of her life Fred Antosz. They were married on November 20, 1943.

Eleanor had a sense of humour she was a kind and caring wife and mother devoted totally to her family. She was always active always busily working about the house. She had numerous interests, crafts and hobbies, sewing and tending the garden and growing flowers. She also enjoyed cooking and baking and was superb at making the most delicious ‘pierogis’ and ¨golumpkis¨.

I would like to thank the CLSC Rosemont for making it possible for my mother to remain at home during her last years. I also thank all those wonderful CLSC and affiliated Agency people who came into our home everyday to help my mother during those difficult times. ... Alfred (Al) Antosz
