Condolences to Imogene from Maggie & husband Michael Stanley. I will remember my cousin, Michael, as a kind, caring person who was always there in times of need. Love of family was a priority. His smile was infectious & welcoming. May memories of him bring endless similar smiles.

On the behalf of my wife Elise, my sister Margaret - Birmingham, England, my children and grands - we share this moment with you Immogene. DaCosta has been a solid rock to our Mum - Denise Brathwaite - his sister - while they lived in England. We always thanked God for him and the love, care and protection he provided her and the children then. Always a loving, caring and exciting person to everyone. I thank God for the life He has given to you as you allowed Him to use you as His faithful servant. By God's grace I pray we will meet each other again when Jesus Christ returns for His faithful children. Thanks Immogene for the love and care you provided him. It made him happy. May God's blessings be with you now and strengthen you at this moment and always. Love you always. Wilcy Brathwaite - Nephew Margaret Brathwaite - Niece.

My heart goes out to you Aunt dots. So sorry. I know that Mike's work is done here but I also know that he has joined the ancestors so he is never far away. His spirit lives on especially through the love you both shared for all those many years. I saw Mike as a humble and quite man who love to share his experiences, make you laugh and eat cake. I also loved to watch when the music hit and he took to the dance floor always with a smile on his face. I will remember him fondly. May he rest in perfect Peace.

Dots..Dotimo Deepest condolences for your loss. Mike will always be remembered for his quiet demeanor and infectious laugh. Once he started laughing so did you. His love of music and the pride he had in his music collection is something that stands out in my mind. Always taking the opportunity to dance when the music would hit him. His life was full of adventure as he would tell it. We met him because he was special to you and therefore became special to us. May he Rest in Eternal Peace and Paradise knowing that he was loved by you for 37yrs and will never be forgotten. GOD be with you always xo

Costa was one of my father's favourite nephews and Costa took that role seriously. His commitment was especially evident as my father's health declined and he remained kind, helpful and supportive throughout that difficult period. We talked regularly while he was well, and sporadically when his health made it difficult. To Imogene,to Karen and her family, to his siblings, cousins, goddaughter and all the others who are and will mourn his passing,I wish you peace and comfort in this new chapter of your lives. Let the grief you share be the common factor that brings you closer. May Costa rest in peace and rise in glory.

Aunt Dot, My heart weeps for you and all that you went through. Knowing that Mike was your world and you took care of him with love and patience, leads me to believe that he went home in peace. ‘Uncle Mike’ as he was called by the twins, left quite an impression on them with the stories he told. He always had them laughing when you both would come over for a little celebration. He showed us his love for dance, stories, sweets, music and you. May you find comfort in knowing that you were given the chance to be with him till he went to his eternal sleep. It was a pleasure to have known him. Peace and love

I met Michael in person a few years ago on my first visit to Montreal. It was a short visit as I was travelling from Chicago to Toronto and made a decision to stop in Montreal to visit family. One of those I visited was Aunt Dot. I had to wake up very early the morning on my way back. Michael assured me he will take on the task of being my alarm clock. So said he was. He had the breakfast table set, water boiled for a hot beverage, all set for Aunt Dot just to prepare breakfast. I remember his soft spoken voice and his smile. My deepest condolences to Aunt Dot, his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
