Blanche Virginie Rachel Kieffer, born in Montréal on October 15 1944, oldest daughter of (deceased) George Kieffer and (deceased) Jeanne Rachel Lalonde.
An accomplished, vibrant woman full of joy of living, Rachel grew up in Hull along with her younger brother Robert and sister Chantal.
Her career began as a professor of administration, followed by post-graduate university studies in business affairs. She began a career as a real estate broker before joining the ranks of Dalfen Limited. She acted as the the right hand woman of Murray Dalfen for twenty years. Rachel developed the American market for Dalfen America Corp with great success.
She leaves behind her husband Pierre Chénier, her loving son Eric Kieffer-Ross, her brother and sister, her stepchildren Martin, Andréanne, Caro and Jean-Olivier, her nieces and nephew Stéphanie, Amparo, Audré and many grand-children.
Due to Rachel’s love of the Arts, contributions to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts would be appreciated instead of flowers.
