Mae was a connector, she kept the family and extended family together in a lot of ways: the family tree website; the family recipe book; the photographs through snail mail and later through social media. She was the glue and the light that kept our bonds strong. I looked forward to her cheerful good morning every day on Facebook. She always had a joke, a smile and some far away news to share with loved ones. I am grateful that Mae was in my life! My heart goes out to family at this time! XO

Dear friends, So sorry to hear the news of the passing of your beloved one. Although we did not know Mae Josephine personally, we are sure that she shaped the special people that you are today. Hoping that the good memories will be a comfort to you all, while you grieve your precious loss. Know that we are keeping you in our thoughts and we pray for the day when ..."all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" John 5: 28, 29. Sincerely

Firstly, I send my sincere condolences to you and your family. A brief history here, after meeting Mae online in Facebook community of mutual love of cooking. We again met in a group I started for cooking and from there myself and a few gals had wonderful chats and shared recipes, laughs, sorrows. She will be greatly missed by myself and our community. She has left an imprint on each of us. We also said our daily morning hellos and the lovely pictures she would post. May she rest in peace. I will miss her presence even though it's only online, but felt like more.
