I will always cherish the memories of times we were all gathered together as a family around the Holidays for Nonna's feast, it certainly won't be the same without her. Nonna was very loving, and had a warming presence. It saddens me I was not able to spend more time with her in her final years, I know she fought hard through several challenges. She will be missed dearly, though there is consolation knowing she may now rest. Rest in peace Nonna

Zia Bettina was always there for me and my siblings. Both she and my uncle Gregorio lived with us in our big house on Waverly when they first came here from Italy. She was a surrogate mother to me, as were our other aunts. They all took care of all the kids in the house. I also remember how she and uncle would visit my kids and make them so happy when it was Easter by bringing them giant easter eggs with a "surprise" inside. I am so sorry that she went through so much illness. She left behind a beautiful family and there is no better legacy than that. To her beautiful family ...cherish all the wonderful memories you have of her..sending all my love at this very difficult time. R.I.P. Zia Bettina.
