George Gravel, formerly of Lachine, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 23, 2008 in his 90th year after a long battle with kidney disease. He is predeceased by his loving wife Kathleen (nee Hawkins), his eleven brothers and one sister. George grew up in Pointe St.Charles and was a long time employee of Consumers Glass and later went into his own silk screening business in Ville St-Pierre.

He will be remembered lovingly by his three children Carolynn (Terry), Gordon (Shirley), Susan (Ron), his seven grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
