Passed away in Montreal on May 22nd 2008, at the age of seventy-seven, survived by her beloved husband Toufic Chami. She will be missed by her children Emma (Samir Chammaa), Mirna (Mounir Souidan), John (Éléonore Abboud), Norma (Ibrahim Diab) and Peter (Rosa Contrino); her grand-children: Carol, Micheline and Patricia; Andrea, Marc and Paul; Marc and Mylene; Sabrina and Tony; her great grand-children : Tiffany and Carlos; Adrian; her brother Dr. Nabil Ghobril and her nieces in Germany; also by many relatives and friends.
