George Filippidis
After a rich and wonderful life, Papous passed away peacefully on April 23rd in Montreal.
He will be sadly missed by his beloved and caring wife of sixty-seven years, Toula Kotsanis, his devoted and loving children Theo (Francine) and Haroula (Ben), his adoring grand-children Joanne (Greg) Jennifer (Shayne), Christina (Nader) and Andreas, and great-grandchildren Julien, Noah, Luka and Theo-James. He was greatly admired, loved and respected by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was pre-deceased by his brothers Niko , Takis, and Christophoros.
He was a beloved uncle to many nephews and nieces in Greece and Florida.
The funeral will be held on Monday, April 28 at 11:30 a.m. in St-Michael & St-Gabriel church, 11,801 Élie Blanchard St. Montreal, followed by the internment at St-Laurent cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Seniors Association Filia or the Charity of your choice.
