Ghisèle Fradette (Mercier)

1932-2025

Mrs. Ghisèle Fradette, 92, beloved wife of the late Mr. Rodrigue Mercier, daughter of the late Adélard Fradet(te) and the late Lucie Guillemette, passed away peacefully at the Berthiaume Du-Tremblay Residence on March 28, 2025.

 A native of Saint-Anselme, she lived in the borough of Saint-Laurent in Montreal.
She is survived by her children: Guy, Lucie (Michel Boudreau), Bernard (Louise-Marie Champagne) and Brigitte; her grandchildren : Stéphane (Beverly Kim Benoît), Nancy (Marc-André Delisle), the late Jason, Tanya, Léa;

 great-grandchildren: Patrice (Briana Fragapane), Marc-Antoine, Samuel, Alexandre, Ruby-Rose, Jamie; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Julien Mercier (late Clairette Richard) (Jeanne Labrecque), Benoît Mercier (late Hélène Delisle) (Lise Fortier) and Denise Mercier (late Jean Labonté), as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of the 9th floor of the Berthiaume-Du Tremblay Residence for their empathy and the good care they provided to our dear mother, with respect and dignity, especially at the end of life. 

Thank you to all the staff and volunteers at the Residence who always treated Mom with smiles, tenderness and thoughtfulness during her stay there.

The family will welcome you at: St-Laurent Catholic Church, 805 Ste-Croix Avenue, St-Laurent, H4L 3X6. Saturday, May 31st, 2025, starting at 9 a.m. A mass will be celebrated the same day at 10 a.m. at the same location.
