It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Giuseppa Castellano Abella on February 8, 2025 in Montreal. She was the wife of the late Francesco Abella.

Mrs. Abella is survived by her children, the late Rosalia (Giovanni), Sandrina, Modesto (Sylvie), Andrea (Ida) and Concettina (Liborio); her grandchildren, Anita (Santiago), Anthony (Gabrielle), Jason (Antoinetta), Gaetano, Samantha (Stewart), Julian, Matteo, Giuseppe, Lorena and Francesco; and her great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on February 20, 2025 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex, 6700 Beaubien Street, Montreal. Funeral services will be held on February 21 at 10 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Pompei Church, 2875 Sauvé E, Montreal, followed by interment at Jardins Urgel Bourgie Laval.
