It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mona Makhoul on 5 January 2025.

Daughter of the late Geryes Makhoul and the late Abla Khoury, she is survived by her husband Georges Nachef and her son Joseph Nachef (Gabrielle Jutras).
She will be dearly missed by her niece Jocelyne Makhoul (Chawki Hayek) and family as well as Renée Makhoul.

Mona will be sadly missed by the family of her late brother-in-law Fouad (Latife Nachef) and her nephews, Élie, Chadi, Joe (Rachelle Moufawad) and Rony Nachef and family.

She will be missed by her brothers and sisters Dalal Saab and family, Joseph , Elias and Michel Makhoul and their families. And her brothers and sisters-in-law: Leila and Jamil Alsayar and their families, Hayat Chatila and her family, Edgard and Fadi El Nachef and their families.

Mona is survived by many brothers and sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends in Canada and Lebanon.

The family will receive your condolences on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Saint Élie Melkite de Laval Church located at 3250 Esther Street in Laval.
The funeral service will be held at the same church on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Saint Élie parish, for the repose of his soul, would be appreciated.
