Thérèse Godin (née Marot)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Thérèse Marot Godin at the Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur de Montréal on December 28, 2024, at the age of 93. She had lived in Ville Saint-Laurent for more than 55 years.
She was the wife of the late Guy Godin and the daughter of the late Lucien Marot and the late Florentine Ringuette.
Mrs. Godin is survived by her children Denis (Carole Pellerin), the late Christian (Josée Rainville) and Chantal (Norman Racette), her grandchildren Marie-Ève (Maxime Abran), Valérie (Johnathan Lemieux-Hamel) and Dominic, and her great-grandchildren Charlie, Alexis, Elliot, Hubert and Ludovic.
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on January 18, 2025 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex located at 3955 Côte-de-Liesse in Montréal. A ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. in the complex chapel.
The family would like to extend their warmest thanks to all the staff at the Centre d'hébergement St-Vincent-Marie, especially those on the 2nd floor, for their kindness, devotion and the good care they have provided over the past 4 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
