Rosemay Bazerghi

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosemay Bazerghi on December 16, 2024, in Montreal. She was the beloved wife of the late Antoine Zalzal, and a cherished member of her family, community, and church.

Rosemay leaves behind her loving siblings Edmond (Norma), Richard (Lily), and Marie-Thérèse (Mimi), her dear nieces Aline, Catherine, Christine, and Caroline, and her nephews Joe and Eric. She is also survived by her stepchildren Gilbert (Thérèse) and Christine, and her granddaughters Caroline and Catherine.

Rosemay’s kindness, warmth, and compassion will be deeply missed by many other relatives and friends whose lives she touched. If you have been lucky to know her, then you know love. She was the glue that kept her family close and a vibrant human being, always generous, and always willing to help those in need. She loved fiercely, and lived fully and she will be missed.

May her memory be eternal and live on in every one of us.

The wake and celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, located at 3955 Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse, Saint-Laurent.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 9:30 AM at Saint-Sauveur Cathedral, located at 10025 de l'Acadie Blvd in Montreal.

After the service, Rosemay will be laid to rest at Jardin Urgel Bourgie, at 3955 Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse, Saint-Laurent followed by a Friendship Meal at the Sale des Mirroirs in Saint-Sauveur Cathedral.
