Virginia Fedele née Marshall
It is with great sadness that we share the peaceful passing of our beloved mother Virginia Doreen Fedele on Friday December 6th at the age of 92. Virginia, known to many as Ginny, was loved by all for her kindness, charm and witty humor.
Virginia, predeceased by her parents Clifford and Thora and her siblings Wayne and Loverne, grew up in Verdun. She worked at Sun Life of Canada. She was a talented actress who starred in productions with the Avon and Sun Life Players. Virginia served at Synod with the Anglican Church and sang in the choir. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a Girl Guide Leader.
Virginia, predeceased in 2008 by her husband of 49 years Joseph Armando (Tony) Fedele, lived on Bachand Street in Carignan, Quebec for 30 years, moving to Alexandria, Ontario in 1991. They enjoyed retired life travelling and as Snowbirds in Florida. Virginia moved to St. Bruno in 2011 becoming an active member of the community. She sang in the Carousellers and Trinity church choirs, was a member of Club 55, the Legion, Théâtre St. Bruno Players and an avid bridge player.
Survived by her children: Lisa Fedele (John Cummings), Tina Fedele (Ken Keating), Michael Fedele (Danièle Simoneau), and eleven grandchildren: Michael, Jordan (Mary-Francis), Rachael, Mitchell, Mathilde, Elissa, Clara, Mackenzie, Justin, Tristan, Zachary; two great grandchildren Charlotte, Nora Quinn and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive your condolences on Tuesday, December 17 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, December 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 8145 Chemin de Chambly, St-Hubert, 514 735-2025.
Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, December 18 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the complex.
