It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished mother, Anna Augello, on Saturday, December 7th, 2024, just shy of her 91st birthday.

Surrounded by her devoted family in her final days, her strength and resilience knew no bounds. Anna was a dedicated wife, loving mother, and a proud grandmother whose compassion touched everyone around her.

Her passions included travel, cooking, fashion, and the art of fine sewing, a profession which she took immense pride in. She was the consummate hostess whose warmth and generosity created a sense of home for all who gathered.

Above all, she found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, creating memories that will forever live on in our hearts.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of sixty-six years, Calogero Merulla, who was the love of her life.

She will be greatly missed by her children Anthony (Merella), Rosaria, Dina (Vincent), Liana (Joseph) and her adoring grandchildren Charles, Michael, Lucas, Daniel and Mara, as well as siblings, nieces and nephews and many treasured family friends.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Anna, Rina and Arlene for their loving care, she was truly blessed to have you in her life.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12th from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 6700 Beaubien Street East, Montreal.

The funeral mass will take place on Friday, December 13 at 10 a.m. at Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel Church located at 7645 Rue du Mans, Saint-Léonard, followed by the entombment at Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery.
