It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Souad Sawaya, who left us peacefully on December 2, 2024. Widow of the late Philippe Sawaya, she is survived by her daughters:
May (Georges Massoud), Maha (the late Samir Habeichi), Randa (Nabil Jabbour), Rania (Ibrahim Bahri) and Hala (Jacques Haddad).

Téta Souad will be sadly missed by her grandchildren:
Philippe Habeichi (Eva Masarra), Farida Habeichi (Patrick Phares), Nada Massoud (Bassam Lteif), Rania Massoud (Samer Yehya), Georges Massoud (Rytta Mansour), Carole Jabbour (Jaoven Olivier), Pascale Jabbour (Napoléon Schifi), Antoine Bahri (Marta Mass) and Krystel and Armand Bahri as well as Déa , Stéphanie and Nicolas Haddad.
Souad is survived by her brother Marcel Sawaya (Marie-Thérèse Massoud) and family.
She is survived by many great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends in Canada, France, Lebanon and Syria.

The family will receive condolences from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Notre-Dame D'Antioche Church, 120 Gouin Boulevard East, Montreal.
Funeral services will be held in the same church at 1 p.m., followed by burial at Jardins Urgel Bourgie at 3955 Chemin de la Côte de Liesse, Saint Laurent.
