Jacques Bégin
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jacques Bégin on December 2, 2024 in Montreal.
He is survived by his wife Michèle Brunet, his children Brigitte, Stéphan (Marie-Andrée Martin), Vincent (Martine Laberge), Frédérique (Sophie Bouvier), Maxime (Élyse Lavallée) and Pascal (Janie Payette), his 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, sisters Adrienne and Pauline (Louis Warren), brothers-in-law Yvon (Nicole Rousseau), Gilles (Yolande Beaulac) and sister-in-law Nicole (Paul Perrault), as well as many relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie/Athos Funeral Complex located at 3955 chemin de la Côte de Liesse, Saint-Laurent on December 13, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on December 14, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Church located at 5333 avenue Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Montréal; a religious service will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Fondation Institut de gériatrie de Montréal or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated in Jacques Bégin's honour.
