Ida Posteraro
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ida Posteraro on December 1, 2024, in Montreal. She was the beloved wife of the late Raffaele Formoso.
She was the beloved sister to her late sisters and brothers Adelaide, Ilia, Antonina, Paolino, Giuseppe, Francesco and Pietro.
She leaves to mourn her children Gaetano (Grace), Peter (Erminia) and her grand-daughter Julia. She also leaves to mourn her nieces Ada (Italo and family), Immacolata, Franca (Domenico and family) and her nephews Beniamino (Elvira and family), Pietro (Donatella and family), Angelo (Filomena and family) and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on December 8, 2024, from 4 to 9:30 p.m. and on December 9, 2024, from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, located at 6700 Beaubien Street East, Montreal.
The funeral will be held on December 9, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Church, located at 7645 Rue du Mans, Saint-Leonard, followed by the entombment at Cimetiere de Laval.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers you can choose to donate to the Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s society for a better future for us all.
