Madeleine Rainville
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children, at the Cité-de-la-Santé hospital in Laval, on October 14, 2024, at the age of 93 years and 4 months, Mrs. Madeleine Rainville, wife of the late Guy Vachon, residing in Montréal and originally from Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Rainville and the late Mrs. Hilda Dufour.
She is survived by her children: Judith (Brian Endacott), Christine (Alexandre Mailloux) (late Louis Lessard), Guylaine (late Luc Nicole), Josée (Denis Rivard) and Martin (Danielle Côté); her 12 grandchildren: Émilie, Antoine, Olivier, Mathilde, Marie, Thomas, Bénédicte, Philippe, Xavier, Samuel, François and Elisabeth, as well as 16 great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Mariette Rainville (late Léon Gilbert) and the late Fernand Rainville (late Stella Bellerose).
She is also survived by her sister-in-law Monique Vachon (late Jean-Baptiste Boivin), many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Urgel Bourgie Athos Funeral Home, 3955 Côte-de-Liesse Road, Montreal, QC
Saturday, November 9 from 9:30 to 11:30. A Liturgy of the Word will begin at 11:30.
For those unable to join us, it is possible to participate remotely in the celebration, which will be broadcast live and rebroadcast.
