It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elyan Chamas, who passed away peacefully in Montreal on 5 October 2024, surrounded by his family.

Son of Mattour and Marine Chamas, he is survived by his wife Salwa Abou Jamra. He is also survived by his sons Mazen (Seham Kalouma) and Bassel and his daughter Mai (Firas Radwan).

Jeddo Elyan will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Maria, Elian and John Chamas.

He will be missed by his brothers: Issa (Alice Battikha) and family, Samir (Leila Abboud) and family, Joseph (Nawal Jabali) and family and Saad (Thérèse Battikha) and family.

As well as his sisters: Nawal (the late Azar Farah) and family and Dalal (Morkos Abdel Majid).
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. in the Antioch Orthodox Church of the Virgin Mary located at 120 Boulevard Gouin Est.

Interment will follow at Jardin Urgel Bourgie at 2500 Boul des Perron, Laval.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 3955 chemin de la Côte de Liesse, Saint Laurent.
