Guy Bonenfant
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Guy Bonenfant on September 8, 2024 at Maison Victor-Gadbois. A native of La Sarre, Dr. Bonenfant was a long-time resident of Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, where he was personally and professionally involved. He was the son of the late Régina Poulin and Joseph Bonenfant.
Guy Bonenfant is survived by his wife Charlotte Leclerc, sisters Marie (Claude Simard), Francine (Antoine Novak), Lucie, brother Pierre (Francine Ouellet), and brother-in-law Hervé Leclerc (Josée Létourneau). He will also be missed by his nephews and nieces Francis, François, Régine, Simone, Virginie and Charles.
A family physician in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville for nearly four decades, Guy Bonenfant touched many lives, practising with skill and kindness a profession that fulfilled him.
A man committed to his community, he was notably the initiator of the Salon des Vins de la Montérégie, an event that was close to his heart.
The family will receive condolences at the Centre Marcel-Dulude, 530 Clairevue Boulevard West, in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, on Sunday, October 6, starting at 11 a.m. A reception will be held.
Your condolences may include a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, which Dr. Bonenfant supported.
