Marcel passed away at the CHSLD Jean De La Lande in Montreal on September 9, 2024 at the age of 83.

A native of Notre Dame du Sacré Cœur d'Issoudun, Quebec, he was the son of the late Alexandre Désiré Dumas and the late Lucie Landry.
He is survived by his son Fréderic Dumas,
his sister Micheline (late Georges) Vaccasoulis of Montreal,
his brothers Robert Dumas (Carmen Drapeau) and Gilles Dumas of N.B.
He was the brother of the late Jacqueline Dumas (1979),
the late Mario Dumas 2007 (Georgette Landry),
the late Jean Guy Dumas 2009 (the late Yvette Lepage),
the late Ghislaine 2022 (the late Jean) Poirier.

The family would like to thank all the staff at the CHSLD for the good care given over the years.

Burial is planned for the fall of 2024 in the Balmoral N.B. cemetery.
