Robert Jean Chatillon

Mr. Robert Chatillon passed away peacefully on September 17, 2024 at the Charles Le Moyne Hospital in Greenfield Park, surrounded by the love of his life.

He is survived by his wife Odette Sarrazin, his sister-in-law Micheline Sarrazin, his brother-in-law Jacques Dufour, his mother-in-law (the late Jeannette Bellemare) and other family members.

A graduate of École Polytechnique, one of the projects that made him so proud was his contribution as a civil engineer to the construction of Habitat 67. He went on to work for the City of Montreal for almost 30 years.

Throughout his illness, Robert showed immeasurable resilience and courage. Special thanks go to nurse Cynthia of the hospital's palliative care unit for her empathy and great humanity, and to Guylaine Paradis, nutritionist, and Jennifer McSorley, respiratory therapist at CLSC Samuel de Champlain, for their professionalism and support throughout the past year.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral or viewing. The ashes will be interred at the Repos St François D'Assise in Montréal on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 1:40 p.m.

‘Rest in peace and watch over us, my Angel’.
