Jeanne Cousineau
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Jeanne Cousineau Morin, on June 14, 2024 at the age of 92. Daughter of the late Rémi Cousineau and the late Mélina Gougeon.
Wife of the late Paul Morin for more than 67 years, she is survived by her children : Sylvie (Bernard Godin), Lise, Philippe and André Morin (Josée Martin); her grandchildren : Éric (Jennifer Cray) and Vincent Godin (Marion Christensen); Jean-Philippe (Élisabeth Crête) and Vincent Morin, Laurence (Guillaume Turgeon) and Marie-Sophie Morin; great-grandchildren : Christian, Patrick, Luke, Matthew and Elliot Godin, as well as her sister, sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews and good friends.
We will always remember her as a woman who loved life, her children, her family and her friends, with a particular passion for the arts and travel. Over the years, our mother showed us her exceptional artistic talents through her many works, including canvas, watercolour, porcelain painting and copper enamel.
The family would like to thank the team at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal for the excellent care she received.
A private funeral will be held at a later date, with burial in the Saint-Laurent cemetery.
