Peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, Daurice's tired heart stopped beating at the Montreal Heart Institute on May 3, 2024. He was 83 years old.

His beautiful green eyes will no longer rest on Éliette, the love of his life for 58 years, his daughter Cécile, his son-in-law Luc, and his grandsons Clovis (Anastasia) and Éloi. He is also survived by his godson Jean-François Tremblay, as well as his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

He will be remembered as a teasing, mischievous man who always had a joke or an anecdote to tell. Sympathetic and curious, he knew how to make friends wherever he went, and he covered a lot of ground in his big truck, all over North America!

He was a generous, kind, sensitive, thoughtful and helpful man. He will be missed by all those who had the good fortune to know and work with him.

The family will receive condolences on May 25, 2024 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex located at 6700 Beaubien Street East in Montreal. A ceremony will be held at noon in the complex chapel.
