Guy St-Jean
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guy St-Jean, who passed away in Longueuil on March 13, 2024, at the age of 82, following a long illness.
Guy worked at Hydro-Québec in the field of electrical equipment performance and testing. He was an IEEE Fellow. Author of numerous scientific publications, he earned many awards and distinctions from his peers.
He is survived by his beloved wife Lise Lachaine. He will also be missed by his brother-in-law William (Bill) Hennessy (Marie José Aubertin). And Bill's children Frank, John Paul, Darlene and Eileen. He is also survived by his in-laws, brother-in-law Robert Lachaine, sisters-in-law Huguette (ex-spouse Daniel Tétreault), Lorraine (Ronald Angeli), Carole and nephews, Jordan (Odessa), Lucas (Mélanie), Olivier (Andrée Anne) and Laurence.
He leaves his most sincere greetings to all those he knew, including his former colleagues.
We wish to thank the staff of Unit 4B of CHSLD René-Lévesque for their support and devotion.
According to the wishes of the deceased, a private ceremony will be held at a later date.
