Patricia McIntyre
With great sadness, we announce the loss of our beloved mother, Patricia Mae Smith (nee McIntyre), who passed away on April 6, 2024, surrounded by loved ones and friends.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald, her daughter Carla (Eduardo Gonzalez), sons Donnie, Scott, and Barry, and grandsons Ryan and Andrew. She is survived by her daughters Cheryl, Brenda, Donna (the late Vittorio Bergola), and Darlene (Robert Blair), her sister Joan Therrien, and brother Ron McIntyre. Additionally, Patricia leaves behind a legacy of love, including numerous adoring grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Patricia was born on February 11, 1931. She was kind, intelligent and fun. She was a 30-year employee of Simpsons and The Bay, a job she loved until she was almost 75 years old. In addition to her dedication to her family and career, Patricia found joy in attending her seniors' clubs, playing games, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
Patricia's life will be celebrated during visitation on Saturday, April 27th, from 1-4 pm, followed by a funeral service at 4 pm at the Urgel Bourgie funeral home at 8145 Ch. de Chambly, Saint-Hubert, QC J3Y 5K2. A reception will be held on-site after the service, providing an opportunity to share fond memories.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
