Geneviève Laurendeau passed away at the Montreal General Hospital on April 7, 2024, after a brief illness.

She was the daughter of the late André Laurendeau and Ghislaine Perrault. She is survived by her brothers, sisters and sisters-in-law: Francine (late Jean-Claude Labrecque), Jean (Monique Rabatel), Yves (Flore Gervais), Olivier (Lorraine Richard) and Sylvie, her nephews and nieces, and Monique Larose, a valued friend.

Her ashes will later be interred in Saint-Gabriel-de-Brandon, in the presence of her loved ones.
