It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Barbara Green Mariano, of Montreal on March 9, 2024, at the age of 81 years. She passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Bill Mariano, Diana Mariano, her son-in-law Greg Swinchoski, as well as numerous relatives, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband John Mariano.

Mom, you will be missed immensely. You were our “go-to” when life got rough, you were our sanity in this crazy world, and our comfort when we needed clarity. Your sense of humor, joie de vivre and effervescent personality made you a great mom, wife, nurse and a dear friend. Your presence will be deeply missed, but your legacy will bloom eternally in the hearts of those you have left behind.

Friends and family are invited to say a final goodbye to Barbara this upcoming weekend. The funeral service will be celebrated from noon to 4pm, on March 16, 2024, at Urgel Bougie Athos, 1255 Beaumont Ave, Mont Royal, Quebec H3P 3J1.
