The one with the strong, sturdy hands and the booming voice, but the gentlest, most generous heart. The gentle giant. The one with the loud laugh and the mischievous, teasing eyes. He who knew how to love with all his heart will always be missed.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Roger. His smile, his boundless generosity, his unconditional love for his partner, his children and his family will remain forever engraved in our hearts.

He left us on January 19 after 20 days in hospital. He is survived by his wife Nadine Baldazar, daughters Christina (Nicholas Karaiskos); Randa (Brent Johnson); grandchildren Jonathan (Mic), Eleni and Alexia; brothers Robert, the late Farid (Switzerland), and Rafik (Arlene Skerritt); nephews and nieces René, Anouk, Yvain, Florian, Alex, Eric and Christophe, as well as extended family and many friends.

868 Côte-Vertu, St. Laurent, on Friday, January 26 at 11 a.m.

There will be a reception in the church basement after the service for all guests.
