It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving Giagia Stella surrounded by her family on Friday, December 1, 2023 at the age of eighty-five.

She was predeceased by her husband Peter Derossis, her beloved children Anna-Maria Derossis and Mark Derossis and her grand-daughter Victoria Derossis.

She will be deeply missed by her son-in-law Adam Adamakakis, grandchildren Demetrios and Daria, her brother Constantinos, her nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and all those whose lives she touched. Our deepest appreciation to her dedicated team of physicians and staff at the CHSLD Donald Berman Jewish Eldercare Center for the exceptional care she received.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Evangelismos Tis Theotokou Orthodox Church, 777 St-Roch Street (corner Champagneur Ave.)

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greek Orthodox Holy Monastery of the Virgin Mary the Consolatory in Lachute, Quebec.
