Giulia Busico (née Cappelli)
Mrs. Giulia Busico (Cappelli), wife of the late Osvaldo Busico, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2023, a few weeks shy of her 93rd birthday.
She leaves to mourn her daughter Rita Busico, grandson Jordan Assaraf, sister Franca Franchi and nieces Ada Pagnotta, Teresa DiPaolo and Lydia Cappelli.
Born in Torricella Sicura, a small village in Italy's Abruzzo region, she learned the art of sewing at an early age. In Montreal, her skills were quickly appreciated by fashion houses such as Elizabeth Hagar, Lily Simon and others, and she went on to launch her own business, creating beautiful garments for her wealthy clients. She was known for her great smile and quick wit.
Condolences will be received at the Urgel Bourgie Athos Funeral Complex on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 2 pm to 7 pm.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at the same location on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 10am.
