Claude Gendron
After 94 wonderful years, Claude Gendron passed away peacefully on November 19, 2023 at CHSLD Val Des Brises in Laval.
He was the son of the late Roméo Gendron and the late Marie-Jeanne Lalonde, and brother of the late Yvon Gendron (the late Yvette Hamon), the late Pierre Gendron (the late Pauline Robillard), the late Bernard Gendron (the late Édith Davis) and Michel Gendron (Camille Gélinas) of Québec City.
A man of words, a man of letters, a man of love, he was above all the loving husband of the late Denise Auclair, father of Jo-Anne (Fernand Éthier), Benoît (the late Chantal Vinot) and Marie-Josée (Gérald Danis), grandfather of Véronique Saint-Jean (Simon Lafleur), Marie-Danielle Lussier (Philippe-Adam D'aigle), Mariève Saint-Jean (Riad Malki), Myriam Danis, Sophie Gendron (Normand Adam), Emmanuel Danis (Anne-Marie Houle), Francis Gendron (Loïca Rioux), Audrey, Alexandre Éthier (Nathalie St-Amant), Marie-Claude Éthier (Sébastien Nadeau) and the Grand-Papi of Raphaëlle, Olivier, Delphine, Maïna, Sara, Mia, Éli, Liam, Lexie, Zakériel, Émeline, Léopold, Charlotte, Léa and Romy.
He is also survived by nephews and nieces, as well as many friends.
The family will welcome relatives and friends at the Urgel Bourgie/Athos Cemetery and Funeral Complex located at 2500, Avenue des Perron, Laval, QC, H7J 1G5, on Sunday, November 26, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held on the same day, from 2 p.m. at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Laval.
