It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Jocelyne Laurent. After a year-long battle with cancer, she passed away at Jean-Talon Hospital on November 14, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Marie-Reine Balzora and the late André Laurent.

Mrs. Laurent is survived by her daughter Isabelle (Kosta), her husband Billy, her granddaughter Sanaa, her brothers and sisters, Weber, Edwidge, André Junior, Gina, Gladys, Alix, Wadner, and their respective spouses.

She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, colleagues at École primaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys, members of the Ében-Ezer Péniel Baptist Church community and many friends.
The family will receive condolences on December 2, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 3955 Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse (Saint-Laurent).

A funeral service will be held at the same location beginning at 1:30 p.m. It will also be webcast on the Urgel-Bourgie website.
