It is with deep sadness and broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Douglas F. Mitchell. Our father passed away on October 31st, 2023, at the age of 88 years.

Predeceased by his loving wife Thérèse Barrette (April 25, 2002).

He leaves behind his companion Colleen Facella-Livsey, his children Paul (late Linda Fournier) and Lise (Daniel St-Jules), his grand children Bobby (Catherine), Danny (Marika) and Jeffrey (Sarah Kim); his great grandchild Heaven.

He will be missed by his brother Ken (Barbara) and his sisters Norma (late Dave) and Joannie, his brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Dad was very active and present for St-Brendans's Parish. All will remember his kindness and devotion.

The family will receive condolences on, Saturday, November 18th as of 10:00 am at St-Brendan's Church (3542 Rosemont, Montreal, Qc, H1X 1K8).
Funeral mass to follow at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the SLA Québec (Sclérose Latérale Amyotrophique, Québec) would be appreciated.
