Gladys Smith
The family of GLADYS MAY SCARLETT (née Smith) of Lasalle is saddened to announce her sudden passing on Tuesday October 10th 2023 at the age of 85 years.
Gladys was born to the late Nehemiah Smith and the late Wilhemina Ross on July 9th, 1938.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Rupert Scarlett, of 59 years; her children: Dorreth Goldson-Todman (Alpheus), Noel Rose, Donovan Scarlett, Sandra Scarlett, Illingford Scarlett, and Pamela Scarlett; 23 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Enid Ross Stewart and Inez Ross and brothers, Oswald Ross and Claudious Ross and numerous family members and friends.
She will also be dearly missed by her friends at the Montreal West Church of God of Prophecy.
Gladys was a loving, caring, and supportive wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was a powerful woman of God and a prayer warrior (she loved to pray). She embodied strength and stability through her deeply rooted commitment to Scripture. Gladys’ legacy continue to inspire others to serve Christ faithfully.

Her loved ones will receive condolences from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 9th, 2023, at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Home, located at 1275 Dollard, Lasalle (Quebec) H8N 2J1.
The funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday November 10th, 2023, at Montreal West Church of God of Prophecy, located at 5255 De Sorel Street, Montreal, Qc. H4P 1G8. A burial will follow at Rideau Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, located at 4239 Sources Blvd, Dollard-Des Ormeaux, Quebec H9B 2A6.
