Diane Lalonde
After a courageous battle with heart disease, Diane (aka Dianne) passed away early morning on Tuesday, September 19th at home surrounded by loved ones.
Beloved mom of Natalie ( Simon) and Dave ( Tamara ) and proud grandma to Dean, Alessandra and Anthony. Pre-decreased by her parents Jeanne Fauteux and Harold Lalonde.
Loving sister to Yvonne ( John) and brother Johnny.
Devoted aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Countless friends will also miss her.
Diane spent the last year of her life living in Winchester with her daughter and son-in-law. During this time, she enjoyed numerous visits with her son Dave and his family. Diane enjoyed watching movies, playing cards and quality time with family and friends.
Diane worked much of her life in the paper industry. She retired in her early 60’s to enjoy her retirement as it gave her the flexibility to volunteer and attend clubs associated with her church. She also had the opportunity to go on cruises with her friends and enjoy longer stays at Otter Lake.
A heartfelt thank you and recognition to the devoted Bayshore nurses, to Melaine, at Home and Community Care Support Services Champlain, and to Dr. A. Mody at Novel Health for providing exceptional care to Mom in her last few months. With this care, she was able to remain at home.
