In Montreal, in the early hours of August 30, 2023, Mr. Kenneth George passed away. He is survived by his beloved wife, Christiane George (Legault), his three daughters, Catherine-Ann (Martin Bornais), Elizabeth (Luc St-Jean) and Stéphanie, his four grandchildren, Henri, Zoé, Juliette and Gabrielle, as well as Mathilde and Rosalie. He is also survived by his sister, brothers, mother-in-law, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, relatives, friends and colleagues.

Kenneth George was an influential political player, particularly in education, a man committed to his community, a militant trade unionist, a distinguished teacher and researcher, but above all, a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will remain a mentor to all those who crossed his path.

On Saturday, September 9, 2023, family and friends are invited to a gathering in memory of this great man, to be held at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, located at 3955 Chemin de la Côte de Liesse (St-Laurent), from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A ceremony will be held at 4:00 p.m.
